The Product Design Associate Analyst will be responsible for modeling and drawing creation of components and assemblies for NASA and Navy programs associated with life support equipment. Associate must be capable of creating robust 3-D CAD models defining details, assemblies and drawings to specific department and program standards in a data managed environment. Associate must also be familiar with manufacturing principles and have the ability to interpret and produce engineering drawings compliant to ASME Y14.100 using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5. In addition, the associate must have knowledge of formal tolerance analysis created from functional, assembly and layout requirements and must be capable of working in an Integrated Product team environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • BS Preferred, But not required AS Degree, Technical School Certificate or Diploma (two years duration).

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 4 plus years experience desired. Final labor grade to be determined by the candidates actual knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of Pro-E CREO 2.0-3.0, WINDCHILL 10.1 data management and PLM Product Lifecycle Management methods would be a definite plus.
