Pratt & Whitney is a recognized leader in the development of Gas Turbine Engines for Military, Commercial and Auxiliary Power Units. This is an opportunity to work as an intern in the Development Operations organization. These positions are located in our West Palm Beach, Florida location.
These summer intern positions; May/June - August 2020 are located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The intern positions include working within one of the following disciplines in support of developmental gas turbine testing.: Test Operations, Test Systems Engineering or Facilities Controls Systems. Dependent on assignment, responsibilities may include: operational management and maintence of test stands, design and fabrication of test stand modifications or special test equipment, HMI creation and software development for facilities systems.
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
- Pratt & Whitney is a government contractor, and as such, the current openings are for positions that require U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent residency
- You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
- Fields of study:Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Masters of Science engineering degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical or computer science
- You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
