Responsibilities :

Two Step Distribution Sales

The Country Channel Sales Manager for Distribution Products has complete responsibility for delivering sales and revenue growth, and meeting gross margin targets for the following

products:

  • UTC range of Mid-Market Offering in Access Control, Video Surveillance,

             Intrusion, Electronic Locks, In room safe and Mini Bar.

  • Onity Hospitality Electronic Locks, In room safes and mini bar
  • Interlogix Tru Portal Access Control
  • Interlogix Zerowire and Ultra Sync
  • Interlogix Tru Vision and Ultra View
  • Supra Trillium Locks and Direct Key

Sales Leadership

  • Prepare the monthly sales plan for products, setting stretch targets for each product/ brand/ market/ sales channel, pricing and projected margins, as weekly plan for achievement of targets. Once approved and accepted

              break-down targets by channel.

  • Ensure the achievement of sales and gross margin targets as set out in the business plan, by constantly monitoring all market segments, working closely with Distributors, Dealers and each channel sales staff, and taking timely

             action in terms of pricing policy or promotion campaigns. Report to Sales

             Leadership team on achievement against targets in a regular and timely

             fashion, and keep him informed on tactical action being taken in different

             markets/segments.

  • Keep abreast of developments in the industry, as well as other competing channels from other industries and provide strategic inputs to the

              management.

  • Determine the feasibility of adding new channel partners and entering new markets in order to achieve/ surpass targets. 
  • Conduct a Monthly/ Quarterly/ Annual review of the channel’s sales

              performance in order to renew/ cancel contracts or agreements.

People Management

  • Recruit and manage high performance team of Sales Executive; drive the

             development plan of all top talents through individual development plans,

             mentoring and conducting skip level meetings.

  • Build strong trust-based relationships with team to be their counsel for day-to-day management, coach & mentor to improve behaviors and skills in line with UTC Behaviors.
  • Work closely with the Business Leader and HR leader to review/ modify

             allocation of resources to drive for high performance, lower attrition, improve

             people productivity and create sustained depth in leadership.

Integrated Supply Chain & Logistics Management

  • Co-ordinate with the Operations Excellence, Customer Support and Logistics Leadership team on procurement and stock availability, provide reliable and timely sales forecasts so that the supply chain can be managed well.

  • Strong analytical technical understanding of operations
  • Focused, high energy, team player, strong ethics, excellent communication skills (well-spoken and well-presented), good in relationship/rapport building, good negotiating skills.
  • Ability to assimilate complex ideas and detailed information into elegant,

             written, spoken and visual communications.

  • Ability to quickly grasp, analyze and define new concepts.
  • Ability to assume ownership and responsibility for a complete project and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally
  • You must be a passionate, professional, motivated quick learner who is

              comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Requirements :

  • Undergraduate degree / diploma in Business or Engineering from a

              recognized Business School preferred.

  • Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word,

             PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Proven experience in driving Distributor led sales management; all of which

             primarily in a business to business product environment managing a complete

             fully engaged business model with a variety of products sales ranging from

             long cycle to short sales cycle.
