At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. As part of our planned continued expansion we require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our European and Middle Eastern customers

An opportunity has arisen for a Spray Painter to work within our Operational Business Units

Primary Responsibilities

 Duties will include the preparation, priming and spray painting of aircraft engine nacelle systems in line with customer specifications and regulatory requirements, working with various tools and materials. This is an ideal opportunity to learn new skills and be part of a diverse team.


Requirements:

Position Requirements

 You will be time served in a relevant discipline (with trade papers or an equivalent mechanical qualification/or SVQ Level 3 in Spray Painting or equivalent).

 It would be desirable, but not essential that you have mechanical experience and an understanding of technical manuals, blueprints, inspection and working to ISO quality standards, ideally within the aerospace industry.

 Compliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and ITC requirements is essential

 Experience of Polyurethane paints and epoxy primers would be highly beneficial.

 The role requires a dayshift/backshift rotation with associated premiums
