We have an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to assume the Associate Director of Domestic/International Tax Compliance role within the Tax organization. You'll be responsible for the international tax aspects of US tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and related calculations. You'll also work closely with the tax reporting group and the tax planning group on these matters. The organization offers opportunity to be part of a growing tax department and manage international tax compliance across the region. Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Primary responsibilities include: You'll lead US International income tax compliance processes Support the federal income tax compliance process Support Plan, forecast, quarterly and year-end closing processes Manage tax compliance systems’ requirements and planning Manage foreign tax credit and foreign source income processes, including GILTI, Subpart F and dividends Coordinate compliance co-sourcing resources Support tax modeling process Support federal audit group, as necessary Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls’ requirements Establish and maintain best practices template – ACE etc. Education / Certifications: Undergraduate or advanced degree in accounting or finance area. An advanced tax degree and/or CPA preferred. Experience with CorpTax, Longview and/or HFM software, a plus Experience / Qualifications: 7-10 years of federal compliance experience in a large, multi-national, corporate tax or accounting firm environment, including 2-3 years of supervisory responsibility Understand major steps in compliance process, from data sourcing through filing and tax account activity In-depth understanding of tax systems’ capabilities Ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements Understand impact of income taxes on the financial statements, and identify opportunities to combine tax and accounting knowledge to improve business results Enabling Competencies: Good interpersonal skills, including ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout Tax and Finance organizations, at Corporate and Business Units Ambitious, able to work independently and under pressure Sense of urgency Ability to motivate others to work towards established deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Good business sense and creative problem solving skills You have a passion for understanding processes and continuous process improvement Teamwork – desire to work with others and share responsibilities We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
