Job Summary -

  • Sets daily production goals for individual employees and follows up on progress
  • Allocates available labor resources and to ensure production schedules are met as required
  • Assures that all his/her employees are properly trained
  • Interprets the Union-Management Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Administers and implements Shop Rules, Safety Rules, and Regulations which may require disciplinary action being taken for an infraction(s)
  • Maintains and reviews production requirements with the Operations Manager
  • Approves personal time, vacation, transfers, and start time changes
  • Performs Tool Box talks covering current issues
  • Coordinates ACE and EHS activities.


Basic Qualifications -

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing/operations environment OR in lieu of degree, 8+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing/operations environment

Preferred Qualifications -

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A/P license
  • Proven track record of leadership and experience working in a Union shop
  • Exemplary record of overcoming obstacles with limited resources in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Aerospace Composite and Overhaul and Repair experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, MRP material ordering systems


Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing/operations environment OR in lieu of degree, 8+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing/operations environment
