  • Relationship management, strategic planning and driving sales growth within original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customer accounts
  • Targeted markets include commercial HVAC, critical systems (data centers, telecom, etc.), refrigeration, security, lighting and other similar industries
  • Working closely with assigned OEM accounts and prospects to ensure their transition to, and long-term utilization of, Automated Logic/OEMCtrl products
  • Job activities will include, but are not be limited to, the following: direct sales, product support, training, product development support (voice of the customer), documentation support, and technical escalations
  • Direct sales will involve lead generation and follow-up, proposal development, supply agreement negotiations, product selection and specification, sales presentation prep, applications support and promotion of products through formal product demonstrations
  • Monthly revenue forecasts, maintaining and updating leading sales indicator status reports, strategic account planning and execution of those strategic plans
  • Staying in tune with the latest trends in the automation and communications industries, listening to and documenting customer requests, collecting information for competitive analysis, and delivering product development and engineering project status to assigned customers and prospects

  • 2 yrs controls industry experience (account management, application engineering, technical support, project management, etc.)
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Most have strong understanding of the fundamentals of HVAC and controls theory
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to work well with others in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Must be able to work with people of varied skill and knowledge levels
  • Must be flexible with regard to job duties
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN configurations a plus
  • Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, N2 Open, and LonWorks a plus
  • Proficiency with SalesForce CRM platform a plus
  • HVAC applications and/or controls experience; Automated Logic product knowledge a plus
  • Understanding of current and previous generation Windows OS
  • Familiarity with XML, SOAP, HTTP, Java, Java Script, and other web-based technologies a plus
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of database management a plus (install and support and use of SQL, MySQL, Apache Derby and PostgreSQL)

  • Associate's degree with 5 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree (technical/engineering preferred; BSCS, BSEE, BSME, BSTMET, etc.)
