The UTC Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to gain valuable human resources experience while simultaneously developing the necessary leadership capabilities to become future human resources leaders at UTC.
HRLP participants will rotate through three impactful eight-month assignments in varying HR disciplines throughout UTC’s exciting aerospace businesses, which will serve as the foundation as they grow and develop their HR careers. In addition to accelerated work assignments, HRLP associates will also participate in individualized skill and competency development programs, as well as formal and informal training and development activities to further prepare them for a successful career at UTC.
Rotational assignments will provide hands-on experiences that will include the opportunity to enhance and grow their skillset, develop a more comprehensive understanding of the different aspects of our operations, and demonstrate their acquired knowledge through tangible actions. Your growth as an HR professional will include several foundational experiences. Typical assignments include rotations in functions such as: Labor Relations; HR Generalist / HR Business Partners; Global People Services; Compensation and Benefits; Talent Acquisition; Learning and Development; Organizational Development and Planning.
The Human Resources Leadership Program will serve as a springboard into a rewarding human resources career at UTC. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to move into either generalist or specialist roles to further utilize and apply their acquired knowledge and experiences in support of both functional and business objectives.
The recruitment cycle for the UTC HRLP runs through the fall of 2019. Please Note: The next Cohort of associates will start in June 2020.
UTC HRLP actively seeks candidates with a BS/BA
A minimum of 1 prior internship or co-op, 2 preferred
Up to 1 year or full time work experience
A 3.2 overall / cumulative GPA or higher is required

UTC HRLP is looking for candidates who have a passion for a career in human resources, with aspirations to lead the UTC human resources function forward as HR leaders. Candidates for the UTC HRLP should be geographically mobile and willing to relocate for different assignments.
