Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the project plan to ensure all parties are supporting the delivery plans for the build and the deployment sites
  • Work with operations business team to ensure we are solutioning the right designs within JDE to support the business.
  • Providing approval and oversight for all changes into the MFG core model
  • Providing approval and oversight for all plans in the operations, supply chain, quality and ITC areas.  Building strategy on global systems and solutions.
  • Managing the multiple teams and schedules.
  • Providing steering committee updates on program progress
  • Manages overall program schedule, budget and delivery
  • Ensures alignment to company strategy
  • Supervises project through all project phases and ensures adherence to project management methodology
  • Responsible for project setup, incl. project organization, roles and responsibilities, project plan and project schedule
  • Proposes and aligns project objectives and project approaches with business project sponsors and other stakeholders
  • Ensures that delivered solution meets project objectives
  • Manages project dependencies, risks and issues
  • Manages suppliers delivering program components and coordinates closely with supplier delivery and project management
  • Negotiates and coordinates project resources for successful project delivery
  • Leads project team through all phases of the project, directly manages work stream leaders
  • Assigns project tasks and issues for resolution, including responsibility for task prioritization
  • Establishes efficient project controls and change management approaches
  • Leads program / project meetings with work stream leaders
  • In cooperation with supplier project manager brings decisions, which cannot be made by project team to the project / program steering committee and proposes / recommends alternatives on behalf of the project team
  • Reviews vendor contracts
  • Approves time cards and invoices, maintains overall project / program budget and actual spend overview
  • Coordinates cross-functional project resources
  • Coordinates with PMO, solution build and deployment leads
  • Ensures project compliancy with company policies and passport / SDLC process
  • Active role  in program change management

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Manufacturing or related business discipline(s)

Experience / Qualifications:

  • IT Project or program management experience in the Operations function
  • 10+ years’ experience working with application support and infrastructure components and services with the ability to quickly diagnose and remediate service issues
  • Experience with Manufacturing processes and applications required
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution, PLM or Supply Chain applications required
  • Oracle/ JDE experience beneficial
  • Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure) and database administration and development are a plus
  • Demonstrated customer focus, evaluating decisions through the eyes of the customer, building strong relationships and evidence in partnering with customers to help shape their future initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicating in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluating information to make decisions, anticipate obstacles and develop plans to resolve
  • A passion for current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
