Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand manufacturing procedures and blueprints.
  • Report any and all incidents to Supervisor.
  • Prepare work orders and data sheets for processing.
  • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.
  • Help with problem-solving by working with engineering, management, and other cell departments.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Prepare parts by cleaning and sorting.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness for a FOD critical area.
  • Verification of drying and proper moisture content and testing is required for raw materials.
  • Pressing materials using dead weight presses, hydraulic presses, and air over hydraulic presses.
  • Measure parts for proper column heights and weights using scales and drop indicators, and work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards a resolution.
  • Rework parts as needed with work instructions.
  • Handle and dispose of all hazardous wastes in the proper manner and in compliance with our EH&S department.
  • Keep tools clean and well maintained and in their proper location.
  • Replace tooling when damaged.
  • Train and promote safe working habits. Actively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep manufacturing areas well stocked and clean for next production run.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as needed to support product delivery
  • Ability, with or without accommodation, to perform the essential functions of assembly operations
  • Demonstrated regular and predictable attendance
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations
  • Ability to work cooperatively with leaders, peers, customers, and others in a team environment displaying mutual trust and respect
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, take initiative and resolve issues
  • Ability to work and communicate professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Some exposure to measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, drop indicators) preferred
  • Strong adherence to safety and quality rules and regulations

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
