The successful candidate is articulate, results-driven individual to lead our team. They will be customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream. The Supply Planning Associate Director is a key role in our organization, leading the Military and Commercial Spares Planning teams, as well as Shop and Purchase Planning teams for the Module Centers. Further, this leader plays a critical role in achieving the mission of our PS&C organization. Evaluate effectiveness and innovate solutions across the configure- and order-to-delivery value stream with an executable materials plan. – Engineered material strategies & architected solutions – Transparent process and schedule integrity – Executable materials plan – Understood and balanced cost/benefits of the plan (cost, inventory, stability, compliance, etc.) Vision: Materials plan that enables predictable, sustainable, agile, responsive, lean value stream execution. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) leadership in the following areas: – Integrate with Module Centers to implement lean value stream materials management principles and solutions – Ensure MRP schedule integrity and enable schedule stability – Identify and lead strategic initiatives associated with material planning systems and integrate with the Materials Execution teams to ensure effectiveness – Support Sales, Inventory & Operation Planning (SIOP) governance initiatives to drive process agility and customer responsiveness – Lead or co-lead high visibility teams that focus on the improvement of inventory management processes – Accountable to effectively manage the Plan for Every Part (PFEP), including planning parameters, scheduling strategies, and inventory optimization – Support lead time management, freight management, and material flow optimization through the PFEP – Communicate the achievement of value stream inventory management targets and other materials initiatives at executive-level meetings – Support annual MMAS audits; ensure monthly compliance requirements This position will manage the teams responsible for the execution of material schedules updates, planning parameters review and updates and analysis of inventory situations. In addition this position will accountable for and lead the execution of critical projects within the team in support of inventory initiatives, new systems implementations and business process improvements. You would be responsible for ensuring that the team is executing to MMAS requirements, standard work, and continuing our ACE Gold journey across Pratt & Whitney planning teams. Each Materials Manager is also responsible to assure that they are meeting full MMAS compliance and will work to maintain the ACE Gold status of the team.

Basic Requirements

  • BS degree in Operations/Industrial Management, Engineering or Supply Chain
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • US Citizen required to work on Government Contracts

Preferred Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Operations/Industrial Management, Engineering or Supply Chain with 7+years of experience
  • Self-motivated and be able to work independently with the value stream teams
  • You will have good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • SAP experience
  • APICS certification
  • ACE Certification
