As renowned leader in jet engines, Pratt & Whitney continually strives to maintain a world class safety record. The recent entry into service of the Geared Turbo Fan and F-135 engine families initiated the growth of our fleet by several thousand engines to be produced in the near future. The Flight Safety team is seeking a motivated and impactful individual to aid in the assessment of flight safety related issues.
•Perform quantitative safety risk assessments on gas turbine propulsion system flight safety hazards
•Develop quantitative models blending engineering insights and statistical methods to determine required actions
•Contribute to team responsible for sustaining world class safety of our product
•Provide leadership for safety issue tracking process including performance metrics to ensure actions sustain safety of our products

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
- You're in an accredited four year degree program and are entering or currently in your last year.
- Fields of study are: Engineering
- You are graduating by Summer 2020
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?
- Entry-level Co-op/internship experience
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills and proven track record of collaboration, adaptability, innovation and initiative
- You demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
