The selected candidate will oversee the creation and management of analytics applications and predictive models that are used to effectively manage multi-billion dollar sales and long-term maintenance contracts for Pratt & Whitney's commercial gas turbine engine customers across the globe.
As a Business Analyst on our development analytics team, you will play a key role in the development of internal business analysis (BA) processes, BA best practices and strategies, you will act as a liaison between business users, Pratt development, data and the outsourced vendor teams, you will be maintaining and tracking BA deliverables, metrics and measures and reporting to the management team, you will be actively involved in setting up the BA Center of Excellence. You will be responsible for assisting with the business case, requirements elicitation, documenting and simplifying the requirements, requirements management and communication, Reviewing Unit, QA and User acceptance test plans, actively involved in all phases of project life cycle. You will be involved in partnering with vendor resources and setting a strategy for outsourcing the business analysis work.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering, physics, math, statistics, computer science or related field of study
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience
Following experience during the academic period is a plus
• Java based applications development experience
• SQL experience
• Technical and business documentation experience
Master's or other advanced degree in an engineering, physics, math, statistics, computer science or related field of study
Excellent oral and written communication skills
