Positions are available in the PW1200G/1700G Customer Technical Services group for a Customer Service Engineer. This assignment offers interesting and exciting insight to the pre EIS preparation for customer service readiness. Job requires flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and ability to multi task across several engine disciplines and across several NGPF engine models. The PW1200G/1700G Customer Service Engineer will focus on specific pre-EIS/FAR 33 task requirements as follows: 1. Initiate technical data development of Engineering Authorization (EA) documents for engine/module piece part inspection and maintenance data for AMM, EM, CIR in support of Embraer PW1700G E175-E2 and MITAC MRJ PW 1200G series engines. 2. Interface with the following organizations to ensure clear, accurate and timely data development of inspection/maintenance EA's: GSE Repair, FMP Engine Service Programs, Customer Service/Client Managers, MRO/Engine O/H organizations, Standard Practices, NGPF CIPT's, Structures, Lifing, and Performance Analysis groups. 3. Manage outsourcing activities in regards to EA creation and Teamcenter processing and be the point of contact for all MDE technical manual publication issues. 4. Interface with airframe companies (Embraer and MITAC MRJ) by providing design, operation, maintenance and technical data. This includes participation in the Maintenance Review Board MRB/MPD process in support of the MSG-3 maintenance interval/inspection determination program for new aircraft/powerplants. 5. Provide technical support to Embraer and MRJ flight test programs, interface with PW SEV as well as airframer teams regarding the modification, inspection and maintenance of the flight test compliance engines. Ensure all technical data procedures are available; provide authorizing documentation and technical guidance as necessary.


0 to 2 years of experience in engine test, design, overhaul and/or repair engineering experience or equivalent. General knowledge of gas turbine engines and experience with airline customers also favorable. We value excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good interpersonal and team player qualities.


BS in Aerospace Engineering required
