Duties:

  • You will work with other PW stakeholders to collect, analyze, and summarize data to support business management

  • Support Quality Notification creation and disposition activities
  • Support Inspection Lot and Material Movement activities
  • Support Management team with administrative duties
  • Participate on cross functional team projects to improve the overall organization and to develop a career path and leadership, with coaching and assistance by the Supplier Quality Manager
  • Maintain key relationships with suppliers’ Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as PW Engineering and Procurement teams
  • You will perform all tasks at the highest level of safety awareness

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the PW Quality Management System
  • Experience in the PW SAP system, including Quality Notifications, Inspection Lot, and Material Movement transactions
  • You can provide achievement stories of working through supplier quality issues. This includes Root Cause & Corrective Action, On-Time Delivery, Quality Escapes and Non-Conformances among other examples.
  • Your background includes working with ACE, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma or related Continuous Improvement tools with a proven track record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments.
  • Familiarity with turbofan engines and airfoil/blade components
