Job Description:

The Senior Group Policy Administrator will be responsible for the execution and delivery of Digital
Technology (DT) technical solutions for our client computing Windows environment in support of the
organization’s business needs. Additionally, the Senior Group Policy Administrator will support global
infrastructure strategies and ensure alignment between enterprise architectural plans and the
company endpoint environment.

This position can be located in Cedar Rapids, IA or Winston-Salem, NC.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Design and support of endpoint environment solutions using Group Policy Objects (GPO) within Active Directory (AD) services

  • Creates, manages, and maintains site, domain, and Organizational Unit (OU) GPO

  • Leverages GPO hierarchy in order to streamline GPO definition

  • Executes deployment plans and operational activities such as operating system upgrades, application deployment, patching, etc.

  • Provides and supports solution delivery to multiple operating systems on multiple hardware platforms, including laptop, desktop, and tablet form factors

  • Provides significant troubleshooting skills and experience in order to provide solutions to complex problems

  • Aids in coordination between multiple environment solutions

  • Cultivates and maintains critical relationships between local and remote teams in support of delivered solutions

  • Provides recommendations on appropriate hardware and software purchases and assists with installation and roll-out

  • Provide forecasting capabilities to identify future capacity or technical limitations

  • Ensures that delivered solutions align to applicable policies, standards, and regulations

  • Assists in analyzing vendor products and provides understanding of industry trends within specific DT disciplines

  • Provides technical and personal mentoring of junior team members

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments in at least 2 of the following:

    • GPO creation and update

    • AD domain services

    • Operating System delivery

    • Application delivery

  • Experience working with distributed teams
