The Otis Service Center Machine Shop is looking for a machinist. Duties include setting up and operating a variety of machines: HASS / Mori Seiki CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Pro-Track mill, punch press and a variety of saws. The Machine Shop is responsible for the manufacturing of a variety of lower level service parts components for mechanical assemblies. Candidate must be a team player committed to continuous improvement with the ability to work in a fast pace environment.
The Fixtures department is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Test Technician for its assembly operations. This position will include assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing on a cross section of electronic components. Technicians will need to operate testing equipment and troubleshoot when necessary to ensure 100% compliance. Tasks may include:
- Point to point wiring
- Performing continuity tests
- High-Pot Testing
- Ability to adhere to safety standards
Education / Certifications:
The successful candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of electronic assembly and wiring. A certificate from a trade school or 3-5 years of relative experience is required.
Experiences / Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have good manual dexterity, the ability to read and interpret complex drawings, prints, and wiring schematics. Candidates should have good interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills as well as possess a positive attitude with the ability to work independently. Candidates should be able to accommodate changes in production and work schedules (including overtime) in order to meet deadlines.
