Nature of Work

  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.  Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Provides solutions to complex Engineering issues using advanced knowledge on problem-solving
  • Develops/Improves Manufacturing Engineering Processes and Procedures
  • Able to assess the work of Manufacturing Engineer I
  • Supports in ensuring that metrics and KPIs are met
  • 50% independent discretion with the ability to recommend decisions or actions that consider    implications to his work and section
  • Able to adjust to non-routine situations by defining and  utilizing appropriate methods and processes.
  • Performs manufacturing processes documentation such as electronic Work Instructions (eWIs, MBOM, eBOM, etc.)
  • Implement Enterprise Change Requests
  • Implements process improvement
  • Prepares plans, process specifications, production aids and assembly fixtures
  • Supports process studies and define work standards to support manufacturing operations


  • 1 -3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in using in CAD/CATIA V5/NX or other complex CAD software application
  • Proficient in using electrical/ electronics (Altium , Orcad) software applications
  • Knowledgeable in aircraft interior architecture
  • Effective application of tolerances and GD&T
  • Awareness of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Good team work & can work with minimum supervision
  • Highly analytical & very keen on details
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Preferably with experience in Team Center software application
  • Preferably with Mechanical & Electrical Design experience
